Welcome

My work is shaped by years of listening closely to people who live with pain. And I believe pain makes sense — even when it feels confusing, overwhelming, or relentless. Over the past 14 years as a Registered Massage Therapist, I’ve worked with many individuals who had done everything they were “supposed” to do. They had seen specialists, followed treatment plans, and adapted their lives in order to keep going, yet the pain persisted and nothing fully explained what they were experiencing, often leaving them feel frustrated, misunderstood, or unsure where to turn next.

That curiosity led me to deepen my training in pain science, neuroscience, and psychology, and eventually to pursue psychotherapy. I wanted to better understand the patterns I was seeing — not just in the body, but in people’s lives, relationships, and nervous systems — and to support change in a way that felt respectful, collaborative, and sustainable.

Today, my work focuses on helping clients make sense of their experiences and develop a more trusting relationship between their minds and bodies. I take a paced, collaborative approach that prioritizes safety, curiosity, and attunement rather than pushing through or fixing. Sessions are shaped around what feels manageable and meaningful for each person, with attention to how stress, emotions, and long-standing patterns show up both physically and psychologically.

I often work with people who have lived with pain and stress for years and identify as caretakers, helpers, people-pleasers, or perfectionists — individuals who carry a great deal of responsibility and tend to put themselves last, swallow their words, or hide emotions. I aim to offer a space that feels supportive, compassionate, and responsive to each person’s pace. Healing grows through understanding and the sense of safety needed for change.
